Bodegas Cooperatives began producing red wines 10 years ago, under the guidance of their chief winemaker María José Sordo, many of which have already won several awards. This particular Tempranillo is made using modern techniques, which give it an intense purple colour. Classic Tempranillo notes of dark cherry and blackcurrant are prevalent on the nose, lifted by a hint of dried flowers and sweet spice. The palate is superbly balanced, the fruits of the forest flavours being perfectly complemented by soft tannins.

Les Vins de Vienne is the result of a partnership between three of the Rhône’s top growers, Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard, and their wines are regarded as representing the essence of each vineyard area. From a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, the nose is complex, with notes of ripe stone fruits and aniseed. Full and rounded in the mouth, it is well-balanced with a lingering, clean finish.
